US Embassy handed over special security equipment to the Security Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
The Deputy Chief of Mission of the United States of America - Ryan Harker Harris, the Head of Regional Security of the Embassy - James Ullin and the Regional Security Officer - Maka Malatsidze visited the Security Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The guests presented the Department with special security equipment - a metal detector arch.
The Chairman of the Security Police Department - Giorgi Bagrationi, together with the representatives of the US Embassy, inspected the metal detector. Later the working meeting was held, where the parties discussed the issues of cooperation and future plans. The event was also attended by Patri Darbaiseli, the Head of Diplomatic Representations and National Treasure Protection Division of the Security Police Department.
After the meeting, the representatives of the US Embassy got acquainted with the working process of the hotline and central management unit.
