Giorgi Bagrationi, Chairman of the Security Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs held working meetings in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Shida Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti regional divisions. Giorgi Bagrationi discussed current and future projects with the leadership of regional divisions and gave relevant instructions to the staff.
After the working meeting, Giorgi Bagrationi went to the strategic facilities guarded by the security police, met with the staff, and got acquainted with the ongoing work process on the ground.
The Head of the department also visited the quarantine zones located in the region, which are guarded by security police officers. It is notable that the Security Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been involved in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic from the very first day and ensures the protection of the quarantine zones and COVID- hotels in the country.
